Meet the Speakers

Karen Stockert is a Sector Lead for Insights Consulting at Cision. In her 13 years with Cision, she has led and conducted media insights research, analysis and strategic guidance for enterprise clients in healthcare, non-profit, public sector and B2C who seek to better understand the impact of their communications efforts and how to shape them.
Prior to joining Cision, Karen conducted consumer insights research using primarily qualitative methods for major consumer brands. Karen also brings experience as a visual communications professional, having developed brand identity and print and online marketing programs for clients in hospitality, higher education and high tech.


In his two decades-plus at Haymarket Media, primarily focused on PRWeek, he has played an integral on some of that brands’ most well-known properties, including the PRWeek Awards, PRDecoded (the brand’s annual conference), AI Deciphered, Best Places to Work, the annual Agency Business Report, as well as numerous roundtables, webcasts, and other in-person and virtual gatherings.
Prior to his stint at Haymarket Media, he was managing editor of MetroSports Magazine, a participatory sports publication that covers the New York, New England, and Mid-Atlantic regions.
